25 Days of Hallmark Movies: Day 8: "Marry Me At Christmas" Starring Trevor Donovan and Rachel Skarsten

When you're making a movie that's one big wish fulfillment fantasy, hey, why not pile on everything you've ever wanted in there? If you're going to meet the man of your dreams, why can't he be a super-famous movie star (that likes you for you) whose wealth will solve all your earnest money problems (without you explicitly asking for help)? And let's make him more into you than you are into him, just to make it not look so sadly desperate. And also, let's let the whole thing happen around Christmas, so every event–a tree lighting ceremony, a holiday craft fair, Santa in the chair–becomes a natural backdrop for red and green tinted romance. Hallmark out-schmaltzes itself with this one.

Plot summary: "A bridal boutique owner who is deep in the flurry of planning an exquisite Christmas wedding is unexpectedly swept off her feet by the bride's brother."
