A Quick Word About Those Commercials That Pretend To Be Informative News Segments

Are you easily confused? Do you often forget what show you're watching when it goes to commercial? Then you must love adver-shows like "MediFacts" or "Brand Power," thirty second commercials that pose as informative programming, or as rapper Lil Durk called it yesterday, "fuckery."

This insidious form of presenting products as the subject of "hard hitting news" easily confuses the elderly or stoners who fell asleep five minutes ago. Finally, that exposé on Saran Wrap you've been trying to DVR is on!

I tell you what, I instantly forgot the name Gaviscon, but I totally remember the name Adverlife! That's a zinger!

So if you're easily confused and find yourself watching "Fast Facts: Facts and Value," just hit "INFO" on your remote and your guide should show that it's a commercial break and "Cougar Town" should be back in just a moment. WHEW!

You seem to be the only person who's posted about these type of commercials. They've always seemed funny and out of place to me. For some reason I like the little signature sound for each one, especially the medifacts "sound." I'm weird.
