Sunday's series finale to "Brynn 'nn Matt" featured all-star special appearances by Candice Bergen, Candace Bushnell, Sarah Jessica Parker, America Ferrera, Dom Deluise, both of those guys from "Wings," Armistead Maupin, Kathy Griffin, Oprah Winfrey, Joy Behar, Debra Messing, Billy Zane, Dean Cain, Chelsea Handler, Mo Rocca, Frangela, Tim Gunn, Heidi Klum, Perez Hilton, Tyra Banks, Jenna Jameson, Kennedy, Downtown Julie Brown, Julie Brown, Judy Tenuta, MC Skat Kat, and Emmanuel Lewis.

Viewing parties all around the country saw the two star-crossed account executives saying goodbye as one sets out on a different path.

"I was crying throughout the whole thing," sobbed Kristy Cheever, 23, at her viewing party in Sacramento, "It was just soooo sad to see all these beloved characters saying goodbye to each other. And I can't believe how he finally said goodbye in that hot air balloon over Central Park. It was sooooo romantic!"

ABC is already working on a spinoff series titled "Joanne" which follows one of the key "B'nn M" characters and her wacky misadventures.

Guess Who Doesn't Care Anymore Now That He's Leaving?

Come to think of it, Matt has been pretty short with me lately.

Btw, lots of requests for a final installment of "What Matt Thinks" and possibly a series finale to the ABC TV program "Brynn 'nn Matt."

2008's "Must See TV"

Nothing but positive buzz has surrounded ABC's upcoming dramedy "Brynn 'nn Matt" since last week's announcement that it will join the fall lineup. After having already been slated for 17 episodes, the program is sure to pick up a second season. Its simple premise: young ad executives Matt and Brynn learn, live, and possibly love in the heart of New York City. And with such an enthusiastic following already, industry experts have predicted "B'nn M" to topple such megahits as "Gossip Girl" and "Charlie Rose."

Stars have already started clamoring for guest spots on the show, even though most have no idea of the roles offered.

"I'll be the janitor!" said former American Idol contestant Bo Bice, "No wait, I am a janitor!"

"I'll just play myself, like I always do," said Christopher Walken, Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler, and Will Ferrell.

"I could be a great black friend for Brynn," said Maggie Gyllenhall at a press conference.

As they start to carp more and more at the office, all pretext towards civility drops in the ring and their matches in the class increasingly intensify. Eric takes on a new project. Lorraine, meanwhile, debates whether to go to Pax or Delmonico's for lunch. Barry Bonds guest stars.

The soundtrack will feature artists like Counting Crows, Jack Johnson, Tristan Prettyman, The Dave Matthews Band, Feist (no, not that song), Anna Nalick, The All-American Rejects, Kanye West, and Cannibal Corpse.

Four True Facts About Matt G and One Lie

• He played Baron Von Trapp in the high school production of "The Sound of Music," but since he couldn't sing, he didn't do a solo of "Edelweiss."

• He's short.

• Earlier this week, he asked me why I haven't filmed him for a "What Matt Thinks" segment, which we now plan to do on Friday.

• He studied a semester abroad at Oxford.

• He once punched a bouncer so hard in the nuts that the guy passed out.

A Quick Note For The Fine Folks at Istanbul

Hey Istanbul Dudes-

I've seen you used Photoshop to create some sort of clipping path around the food for your takeout menu. Since you had it open already, you know you could've changed the color balance so the meat didn't look so green, and those two things on the right wouldn't look so much like glistening turds.

Not all requests will become developed, however. So settle down, ladies.
