New Jersey Can't Star Wars.

A post from the Maplewood, New Jersey Department of Community Services on May the fourth:

Just rolls of the tongue, right?

And here's a program for the Newark Performing Arts Center:

Wait, something looks off here...

That artwork is clearly Anakin and Obi Wan fighting on the lava planet Mustafar, which happened in Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, not Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

C'mon New Jersey! Get it right.

Coming Soon To The EADJ Crappinema: Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas

Hot on the heels of "Ten Inch Hero" is another ensemble comedy featuring a bunch of supporting cast celebrities trying to support each other into a full feature film. A movie "lean-to," if you will.

But whereas "Ten Inch Hero" was earnestly going for your heartstrings, this movie seems to be aiming at both your head and your crotch.

This apparent "Real Genius" homage (or is it a "Big Bang Theory" homage?) contains a likable genius, a lickable sorority girl, and a campus full of wacky characters who smoke pot and know how to party!

"Award-winning?" They won a Mobius Award, too?

Good Job, Nonwhite!

The other day, Tom noticed this item sitting on a co-worker's cubicle shelf:

"Most Promising Minority Student?" What the f? Is that supposed to be complimentary from that University? Seems a little patronizing. No, actually not patronizing... more like qualifying, like "Hey, you're doing pretty well for a Hispanic," or "We don't expect much from Blacks, but wow, you surprised us."

Makes you think there's a "regular" "Most Promising Student" award somewhere on some collar-popping, power-lunching dickhead's oak desk.

And the "Our Differences Bring Us Together" at the bottom makes it all the more contradictory and insulting. Thanks, Denny's University!

But that's just my kneejerk opinion, uh, in case that co-worker happens to read my blog. Hi!

Hellooooo Mobius!

This EADJ reporter was lucky to have spotted another Mobius Award outside of the CK reception area. This was at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, Michigan!

And not only that, but 2 other random awards were recognized nearby! Like what the hell are these things?!

When she heard the news, Jessica checked the CK reception area in a panic to make sure the Henry Ford Museum hadn't somehow pinched the trophies from Cramer-Krasselt. Yep, they're still there! Whew!

BONUS FUN FACT: The average Mobius award weighs .76 lbs! That's 1/4 the weight of Jessica!
