EADJ Calls Bullshit

Spotted at a children's birthday party joint: "TENNIS Champion."

BULLSHIT. Kid looks what, 5 months old? She's sitting up— maybe by herself— so she's somewhere between 4 and 7 months. So to be able to even hold the lightest carbon tennis racquet would take strength and coordination that SHE DOES NOT YET POSSESS.

Let's not even get into the fact that she cannot walk yet, so how is she supposed to crawl quickly to the other side of a (assumedly regulation-size) tennis court to even return the ball?

Well, maybe if the other players in the championship are also dribbling infants. Maybe she could beat them all 40/love if they were incoherent or asleep or crying about being left in the middle of a tennis court in the heat. But that would still require her to be able to successfully serve the ball over the net about 4 times a game, assuming the others who were serving wouldn't be able to.

Okay, so maybe she won all the games where she wasn't serving, and that was enough for her to win the infant tennis championship. But she is no fucking tennis champion by any stretch of the imagination.

Let's not go crazy here. Fucking bullshit is what it is.

The Babies R Us Fall Catalog: A Goldmine Of Feature Film Ideas

Just when you thought Hollywood was fresh out of ideas for movie plots, Babies R Us comes around and releases this baby catalog, which to you looks like any other catalog, but to major studio executives is a vast, rich vein of terrible movie properties to put into development.

"Little Man"Adam Sandler returns to top comic form as he and Rob Schneider star as two bumbling janitors who accidentally shrink themselves to 3 feet tall in an experimental lab, and right on the day that Adam and his wife (Alicia Silverstone) were supposed to renew their vows! Also starring Peter Dinklage as Poppa Bear.

**HOLY SHIT UPDATE** I totally forgot that there ALREADY IS A MOVIE CALLED "LITTLE MAN," starring the Wayans brothers. Aw man.

"Daddy & I Agree Mommy Is The Boss" From the creators of "Love Actually," "Valentines Day," and "Notting Hill" comes this film about an American mom (Naomi Watts) and a British dad (Ralph Fiennes) trying to fight for custody of their children from different sides of "the pond." Rated PG-13 for melodramatic as fucking shit.

"Daddy Rocks!" Jack Black plays a rockstar and does his Jack Black thing while trying to change diapers or open juice boxes or whatever the fuck. You write it.

"Mommy's Angel" Universal Studios is proud to announce the harrowing story of a dying child who grants their dying mother's last wish by fulfilling their dream to ride a rodeo bull without dying. Featuring the entire cast of TV's "Nashville," who you probably won't recognize anyway because who watches that show?

"Punk Rock Pup" is a 3D computer animated adventure from Pixar featuring the voices of Johnny Rotten, Iggy Pop, Glenn Danzig, Henry Rollins, Exene Cervenka, Milo Aukerman, Billie Joe Armstrong, and featuring Avril Lavigne as Poseur the Poodle. A punk band gets separated from their mascot/pet during a police shutdown of a local show, and the dog must visit all the local clubs to reconnect with his punk roots. This movie will be accompanied by a 17-CD punk rock box set.

Fuck, this actually sounds like a great idea.

"Cute Like Mommy" starring Helen Mirren, Demi Moore and Suri Cruise. This tragicomedy about love, loss, and exfoliating examines the female experience through the eyes of three generations of headstrong women. Also starring Jon Hamm as "Useless Male 2."

"Whoo's Cute?" Michael Cera and Elizabeth Olsen star as two dating puppeteers who fall out of love with each other and start acting out their differences through their puppets at children's parties. Danny McBride and rapper Chamillionaire make unpaid but credited cameo appearances.

"Future Fire Chief" Tom Cruise and Will Smith team up as Chicago firefighters in the year 3099. A strange new type of "plasma" fire has brought the city to its knees, and it's up to two famous Scientologists to use the power of expensive special effects and apple boxes to make things right again.

Either "Cate Cupcake" or "Cute Cupcake." Cate Blanchette stars in this Guy Ritchie-helmed crime adventure as a mild-mannered local baker who finds herself delivering sugary sweets to London's most diabolical crimelords. The two crimelords (Colin Firth and yes, Benedict Cumberbatch) fight for supremacy over Cate's cupcakes, and a LOT of people die.

Let's Smear Day-Old Guacamole All Over The EADJ Mail Sack!

(Photo is unrelated)

This from Matt S:

I am in the middle of a drawn out battle with a furniture retailer in NJ, and have been given the runaround and been lied to while my son sleeps on the floor because they can't deliver furniture, their only job requirement.

In addition to contacting the BBB and (no one knows this, Fox 5 and Channel 7) I've just made a tumblr blog about this.

Can you push this to your readers? I'd love for it to start making traction!

Thanks, Matt.

We feel for your son because of this travesty of customer disservice, but as a blog that mainly covers terrible movies and dick jokes, I gotta say this might not be the right forum for this issue to air.

Still, in our 6 year history, we have never turned a blind eye to an infant's troubles. Okay, maybe that once. But still, we're with you, Matt, and we'll share that link with both of our blog readers.

Matt, hope this makes up for that time we pantsed you at Busch Gardens that summer.

People Are So Inconsiderate.

People are so inconsiderate. Not only do they leave their shopping carts in the middle of parking spaces, just steps away from a cart corral...

... but they don't finish a perfectly good corn on the cob and just leave it out for crows to pick at.

Amazing Package Photo

Spotted at Babies R Us:

The figurative and literal separation of a marriage...

...accompanied by a pleasant tune...

...that plays to fill the utter blackness of marital loneliness.

Some assembly required.
