Spotted Online Somewhere

A banner ad for Hot Topic:

Now, my first reaction to this is "WTF"? Like, how dumb an idea is it to have a fashion tie-in with an out of date crappy horror series with a killer demon-possessed doll? But then I realized, I'm 51. I'M NOT THE TARGET AUDIENCE. And the mere fact that I hate this is exactly the kind of rebellion Hot Topic's primary customers embrace.

So go ahead and dress up in some Good Guys pajama tops and overalls, kids. Maybe put a kitchen knife into your back pocket and get some stitches on your forehead. Enjoy!

As Promised!

Here is the utterly unmatched (and unfortunately uncredited) performance of Exterminator 1 from "Maybe I'll Come Home In The Spring," last week's entry in the EADJ Crappinema:

Exterminator 1: "I don't understand the world anymore. I mean, I used to understand the world, b...but I don't anymore. I can't understand a world where people just come up and they steal exterminator trucks. I...I don't understand it. I'm going home. I'm going home."

Exterminator 1 eventually went on to become a world famous DJ for rap group Public Enemy.

EDITOR'S NOTE: True MICHITS fans will be happy to know that the real location in this classic cinematic scene is still intact decades later.

¢¢¢¢¢ SFVOSP Update 2 ¢¢¢¢¢

(the following is a firsthand account from Larry Liss, who, along with Andrew Gall, spotted the SFVOSP Wednesday night)

Having witnessed the entire scene, I can tell you that Andrew's story is 98% true. The other 2% is that Andrew seemed to be touching himself.
