A Short History of Office Floor Plans

1) Everyone gets offices.

2) Some people get offices. Lesser workers get cubicles in the middle.

3. OPEN FLOOR PLAN. Everyone in cubicles. Only rooms are conference rooms.

4. Open floor plan with stupid pods for when people need to concentrate. Ping pong table to distract from the fact that it's all a waking hellscape now.

5. ALL REMOTE WORKING. Yaaaaay! ðŸ–•

An Open Discussion

I opened a "Signals" catalog the other day, and I'm pretty sure I spotted former "Flip or Flop" host Christina El Moussa modeling a floral top.

I mean, that is her, isn't it? It sure looks like her.

But let's back up for a minute. Does it make any sense for an HGTV star like that to slum with a mail order catalog? Is she so in need of cash that she has to model some cheapo blouse for junk mail?

Maybe.

Maybe that divorce with Tarek was so ugly, she was left with little more than monthly rent. Add the expenses of caring for their children and yeah, she might have some expenses to take care of there.

But then again, she's a friggin' TV star. And she didn't leave HGTV with any bad blood, from what I understand. Plus she's incredibly attractive, so of course the channel would hook her up with a new gig and she wouldn't need to model some dollar store rags.

But on the other hand, that sure as shit looks like her. And she didn't really seem to roll up her sleeves in those "Flip or Flop" construction jobs; I often saw her walking into a work zone in friggin platform heels and light colored slacks. So maybe modeling was her calling all along.

What do YOU think, friends?

And Now, Vince's Uncle Roberto On How To Fashion A Makeshift Saddle

So you're stranded with your horse and plan to ride a distance but you don't have a saddle handy. What to do? Follow these quick steps to save yourself a lot of riding pain!

1) Take three or four thick blankets and arrange them so that they cover 4 ft x 5 ft.

2) Without bunching them up, carefully tie the four corners of the blankets so that they don't unfold.

3) With two longer lengths of rope, tie the bundle to your horse. Make sure they're tight but not constraining the horse's movements or hurting her.

4) Try riding on it a few times to make sure it's comfortable enough for the long ride.

And speaking of long rides, if you've hired my limo to take you to the airport, please don't tip less if there's traffic. I have no control over it and maybe you should've planned ahead a little to make your flight. Stay safe, kids!
